Having never been handled before, he acted almost like a wild animal. During their initial vet visit, he was so overwhelmed that he couldn’t even be coaxed out of his kennel.
The first few nights with Griff were particularly trying. Angela spent hours sitting outside his kennel, keeping the door ajar and offering him food to gain his trust. Despite her efforts, she struggled to place a leash on him.
A breakthrough came when Griff began to show a playful side. Settling into a basket, he appeared more at ease.

Angela approached him gently, and his calm response signaled that he was starting to trust her, which was a significant step forward.
Angela established several goals for Griff’s progress. The initial aim was to hand-feed him and introduce him to leash walking.
Although Griff was initially scared, he gradually adapted and enjoyed outdoor walks, which became his new favorite activity.

One of the most challenging tasks was teaching Griff to navigate stairs. Angela was overjoyed the first time Griff approached her willingly, a sign of his growing trust.
With his newfound confidence, Griff was ready for adoption and eagerly awaited his new, loving home.
