Fox6 News reporter Christina Vans contacted the dog’s owner, Angela Speed from the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Angela revealed that the dog, named Baby Girl, was discovered with a note explaining the desperate circumstances that led to her being left behind.

Speed noted that while many reacted harshly towards the owner, the Wisconsin Humane Society responded with empathy.
