Suzette Hall received a critical call about a dog found stranded on a train track in Irvine, California. This poor black Labrador had been cruelly thrown from a car by its previous owners, left to fend for itself.
Suzette, who works tirelessly for an animal rescue organization, often gets calls about stray dogs, but this particular day proved to be extraordinary.
The Labrador sat helplessly along the tracks, oblivious to the life-threatening danger it faced. Confused and hoping its family would return, the dog refused to leave, unaware it had been abandoned.

Despite the cold and hunger, the loyal dog remained in place, clinging to the hope of a reunion with its owners.
When Suzette arrived, she found the dog right where it had been reported, its unwavering belief in its family’s return holding it hostage.
Having rescued other animals in similar predicaments, Suzette understood the dog’s plight. Like many others, it faithfully waited for its family, even nearly being hit by a train in its determination to stay.

As the situation grew riskier by the moment, Suzette decided to act. When she tossed some chicken towards the dog, hunger temporarily overshadowed its fear, and it ate eagerly.
This small act of kindness was all it took to entice the dog into a safety trap.
Suzette named the resilient canine Soldat. She quickly took him to a veterinarian for a health check. Miraculously, Soldat was unharmed and soon basked in the affection of shelter workers.

With ample food and plenty of cuddles, the once-abandoned pup began to thrive, finding joy and trust once more.
Soldat now looks ahead to a promising future. All he needs is a loving family ready to welcome him into their lives, ensuring he never experiences abandonment again.
While the search for his perfect home is ongoing, Soldat patiently waits in the care of compassionate people, hopeful for his new beginning.
