A poor dog with painful ears was discovered infested with ticks, which made it difficult for her to sleep at night.
A concerned woman brought the dog’s condition to our attention. As she described it, the situation was indeed worrying. She reported that the dog was not only swarmed by fleas but also had a severe wound on its ear.
This dog, she explained, had been abandoned by its owner in an empty house near hers, and it broke her heart.
The woman, determined to help, began feeding this needy dog whenever she could. Initially, the dog was wary and wouldn’t let her get too close, so she couldn’t fully assess its injuries.
However, as they grew more familiar with each other, she managed to get closer and affectionately named the dog Nala. When she finally got a good look, she was shocked by the state of Nala’s skin.
Underneath one of Nala’s ears was a large infection swarming with fleas, emitting an unpleasant smell. The back of her ear had a serious ulcerating wound.
Understanding the urgency of the situation, the woman reached out for help, and together we decided to arrange treatment for Nala.
