In a dramatic encounter captured on video, a nine-week-old puppy named Jasper was grabbed by a carpet python while exploring a field.
Jasper was sniffing around, unaware of the hidden danger, when the snake suddenly struck from behind a bush and attempted to constrict him.
Despite Jasper’s struggles to escape the python’s grasp, a passerby nearby heard the puppy’s distress cries and quickly intervened to help.
Freeing Jasper from the snake’s tight hold was challenging, but the rescuer managed to pull the python away and ensure the puppy’s safety.
Jasper emerged from the ordeal with only a bite on his ear, which his owners promptly treated. Thankfully, both animals involved in this frightening incident were left unharmed, and Jasper made a full recovery, returning to his playful self.
