Rosa was so frail that she could hardly stand, let alone walk, and her condition is further complicated by numerous leg ulcers and a grave infection that has left her bones exposed.

The coming days are crucial in Rosa’s battle for recovery. We remain hopeful that she will pull through, even as her prognosis remains uncertain.
Her condition indicates a past of extreme neglect, and our main concern now is to ensure she survives each night.
Rosa is receiving intensive care, including treatments such as fluids, antibiotics, pain management, and temperature regulation. We sincerely hope she can overcome these challenges and eventually live a healthy life.
In a remarkable turn of events, Rosa has begun to stand and walk after just a few days of care! Her progress has brought immense joy and relief.
She now weighs 48 pounds, showing significant improvement, particularly in the condition of her legs, after nearly two months of hospitalization.
